Manisha is a lawyer and Practice Group Leader at Slater & Gordon, with wide expertise and more than 15 years’ experience in governance advice to not-for profits, property-rights, commercial and class action litigation. Manisha is passionate about access to justice and closing the opportunity gap in education.

Her involvement in education programs that promote equity started early. During her high school years Manisha was a volunteer teacher at the Fitzroy Youth Music Program, a program that taught music to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

At Monash University, Manisha served as an elected student representative on Monash University Council while completing her law degree. Manisha is an alum of Princes Hill Secondary College.

Peter has more than 25 years’ experience at a national level as a senior manager in the credit and debt recovery industry.

Peter specialises in large corporate collections, legal debt recovery and management of company creditor correspondence with administrators and liquidators. He has worked for some of Australia’s leading professional services firms and has extensive experience in building and supervising teams to assist with company cashflows.

He is currently Credit Controller at KPMG Australia. Peter is passionate about assisting students from less privileged backgrounds to achieve their academic goals and vocational aspirations. Peter is an alum of Springvale High School.

Caroline Milburn is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Ourschool, with extensive experience in public school education and the media industry. Before establishing Ourschool in 2017, Caroline was a journalist and editor with The Age newspaper for more than 20 years.

Caroline is also a former public high school teacher, having taught in rural and metropolitan schools. Caroline established Ourschool to help public high schools build strong alumni networks in order to benefit students and public school communities.

Under Caroline’s leadership, Ourschool has emerged from a successful pilot to a program that’s creating long-term, systemic benefits for public high schools and their students. Caroline is an alum of Newcomb High School.

Colin is the President of the Victorian Association for State Secondary Principals (VASSP) and a board member of State Schools Relief.

His extensive career in education includes former leadership roles as the principal of Suzanne Cory High School and Stawell Secondary College, and as assistant principal of Williamston High School.

Colin is an alum of Melbourne High School and the president of the Melbourne High Old Boys’ Association Inc. He believes that a high quality, well-funded, government school education system is essential for the future prosperity of the country.

Ken is a former president of The Tax Institute, a former lecturer and Senior Fellow of the Masters of Law program at Melbourne University and a former member of the Board of Governors of the Australian Tax Research Foundation.

He is a professional photographer and is an Associate Member and Master of Photography of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. Ken is an alum of Wattle Park High School.

Judy has had a deep commitment to public high school education as a teacher, school principal and education reformer. Her 20-year career as a school principal included the leadership of regional schools in Victoria’s south-west, Heywood & District College and Warrnambool College.

Judy was also principal of Melbourne Girls’ College for 12 years. She is a former President of the Victorian Association of State School Principals, the peak professional organisation that represents public high school principals and advises governments on state school education.

Judy has served on the Council of Deakin University and the National Executive of the Alliance of Girls’ Schools. She is currently a Non-executive Director of Bank First. Judy is Co-founder of Ourschool. She is an alum of Maryknoll College.
